Police Seek 32-Year-Old Man in Lindh Murder, Expressen Says
Sept. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Swedish police are searching for a 32-year-old man known for his violent tendencies in conjunction with the murder of Foreign Minister Anna Lindh, Expressen said on its Web site, without saying where it got the information.
The man, who is homeless, is described as a ``notorious knife criminal'' and ``extremely dangerous,'' the newspaper said. Deputy Chief Prosecutor Agneta Blidberg yesterday decided to call the man in for questioning, Expressen added.
Police technicians have secured fingerprints on an escalator's handrail at the Stockholm department store where Lindh was killed that may belong to the man, Expressen said. He matches witnesses' descriptions of the killer, the daily added.
The newspaper didn't identify the man by name.
